MOTO / Telesales
MOTO stands for Mail Order / Telephone Order. If your company receives orders by e-mail, post, telephone or fax and you need an online payment solution, this is the right method for you.
MOTO stands for Mail Order / Telephone Order. If your company receives orders by e-mail, post, telephone or fax and you need an online payment solution, this is the right method for you.
As a full-service payment provider, we offer our customers the following options for their online and offline transactions for convenient payment processing of MOTO payments or telesales payments.
With this variant, you send your customer a payment link by email, which leads to the secure payment form from Novalnet on our platform. Your customer enters his payment details there. After the successful payment, our platform automatically informs your system about the successful completion of the transaction.
No PCI-DSS certification is necessary for you because you never come into contact with sensitive payment data. We process the transactions through our secure payment pages. In addition, our platform automatically assigns the corresponding payment reference (also known as alias and token) and communicates this to your system for future purchases by your customers. You can use this payment reference to initiate new bookings without your customer having to re-enter their payment details. As a merchant, there is no direct processing and storage of payment data.
We can also provide you with the payment link as a short link using a short URL service (URL shortener), which shortens long Internet addresses. This short version can then be shared comfortably and visually more beautifully or you can even pass it on simply and clearly on the phone. Clicking on the short link then creates a redirect (301 redirects) to the original Internet address for our payment form.
A shortened URL could look like this: www.example.de/shorted instead of the long Internet address www.example.de/example.php?id=234345&session=898714874657.php.
The advantage of this short URL is that it not only looks clean, but there is also no longer any risk of a line break in an email. Such a break can lead to errors when clicking since only part of the URL is called. This short link is also easier to copy and paste into the browser. Another advantage is that the short address (e.g. sent in a letter) can be copied more easily and quickly.
This function can be used in many cases and can be flexibly adapted to your individual needs. One possible scenario would be: The buyer has not yet paid for his order or has accidentally cancelled the payment and asks you to provide him with the payment options again. You can now send your customer a short link to a pre-filled payment form in which they can choose one of the various payment options and only have to enter their relevant data.
However, it would also be conceivable to use a short link if you send an invoice to the buyer by post or email and the buyer has the option of not only paying the invoice by bank transfer but also other payment methods such as Select credit card.
You also have the option of integrating the short link into a payment reminder. Whether this reminder is sent by e-mail or by post: it is easy for the buyer to copy the URL and enter it in the browser.
With this variant, you receive the payment info yourself, note it in your system and forward it to us for payment processing – either via API or by entering it manually in our admin portal or in our payment form. To do this, you must be PCI-DSS certified, as you will come into contact with sensitive payment data.
With the above variants, we offer you a simple solution in telesales and mail/telephone ordering business via our payment interface to seamlessly integrate payment processing into your system (e.g. merchandise management system, SAP, etc.). Paying by phone or email is very easy.
Our process enables a smooth process, easy handling for your employees and possible cost savings for your company. It ensures that all payments are verified through our smart fraud prevention and provides real-time processing and payment approval for all legitimate transactions. After checking the data, our platform will immediately inform your system whether the booking was successful. You can call up the reporting and real-time statistics both via API and in our clear admin portal. In the latter, you will find all transactions, incoming payments and evaluations. You can view all the details of a transaction or a collection case there in real-time at any time. In addition, you can initiate credits, full and partial refunds and cancellations within the admin portal.
Our MOTO / Telesales solution thus offers you a convenient option for the consolidated processing of many transactions. Recurring payments can easily be automated via our subscription management for the payment methods credit card, SEPA direct debit and purchase on account. As a full-service payment provider, we offer you a tailor-made solution – just talk to us.
